Our goal is to increase clinical trial capacity in perinatal and child health in Canada. To do this, IMPaCT will create a common space for training and mentorship in clinical trials to harness existing strengths with sustainable, and accessible infrastructure.

What is IMPaCT?

IMPaCT consists of 3 main components

Our mission is to build a sustainable network with the next generation of perinatal and child health researchers to support career development, demystify the process of clinical trials and increase capacity for perinatal and pediatric clinical trials in Canada.

Mission Statement

All salary awarded IMPaCT learners will develop skills and competencies in 3 core areas. IMPaCT curriculum also includes extended and advanced topics relevant to clinical trials with children and pregnant people.

Land Acknowledgement

On a national level, we encourage all Canadians and visitors to Canada, to learn about the Indigenous people of the lands on which we live, work or visit and become engaged allies together. We, as Canadians, in the spirit of truth and reconciliation, respect the self-determination of First Nations, Métis and Inuit, and their rights and responsibilities in cultures, languages and the pursuit of wellness.
