Gunjan is a parent of an amazing human with Autism and ADHD and a proud immigrant to Canada. Her son was born premature and she experienced a journey from NICU to the out-patient services in the healthcare system .She is deeply grateful to the land and honored and privileged to belong to the community of learners, leaders and change makers and grateful to all those passionate voices that partnered with her in this journey. Her day starts with one hope of making a difference in human lives and enabling a just more world for all, that is inclusive and is transformed by research and education. She currently serves as a Family Leader, Family Mentor, Family as Faculty, and FAC co-chair at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She is part of Ontario Health’s Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC), Mental Health and Addiction Committee, and volunteers with Autism Speaks as a Family partner and a Parent Partner with CHILD-BRIGHT Network and Canadian Center for Caregiving excellence.
