Jenna Kedy

Jenna Kedy, a vibrant 20-year-old from Halifax, Nova Scotia, has been shining as an IMPaCT youth patient mentor since February 2024. Diagnosed with arthritis at 11 and fibromyalgia at 15, she triumphed over septic shock at 18, emerging as a fierce mental health warrior. Her passion for amplifying patient voices fuels her advocacy, serving as a proud patient partner with IWK since 2019, where she sits on the Transition of Care Committee and Family Leadership Council. Jenna also partners with UManitoba and E Health 2024, adding sparkle to every project she touches.

As a dynamic public speaker with Ember Productions Talent Management, she inspires audiences far and wide. A second-year Family Studies student at Mount St. Vincent University, Jenna also leads as a Girl Guides mentor to Sparks and Embers. She’s represented Nova Scotia at the Youth Internet Governance Forum and the Motivate Canada Via Youth Summit, leaving a trail of glitter wherever she goes.
