Jacqui Whiteway
Dr. Jacqui Whiteway brings more than 20 years of scientific and leadership experience to her current role as Senior Director and Head Pediatric Strategy Liaison in the fully dedicated Centre for Paediatric Clinical Development (CPCD) at ICON, a leading global Clinical Research Organization (CRO). Her PhD in Molecular Biology and research experience gained at the BC Cancer Agency and in a startup biotech company led her to pursue the challenge of clinical trials in the CRO environment, ultimately dedicating herself to pediatrics in 2018. In addition to contributing to over 120 industry sponsored pediatric studies, Jacqui strives to learn and share with all stakeholders to innovatively bring safe and effective medicines to all children sooner, and is invited to share in a variety of venues, from podcasts to teaching a masterclass. Balancing her focus on pediatrics, she especially enjoys volunteering for ElderDog, a charity dedicated to ageing people, ageing dogs, and their connection, as well as enjoying all the nature that Vancouver Island provides.
