Dr. Quynh Doan is an Associate Professor in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and a Health Services Research Scientist at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She is also the Director of Clinical Research at the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute. Her research program evaluates pediatric emergency department patterns of use and the value of emergency care provided to children and families. She has focused this work on our approach to youth mental health emergencies, by developing, evaluating, and implementing digital support tools such as the HEARTSMAP for clinicians, MyHEARTSMAP for children's self-assessments, and HEARTSMAP-U for universal screening among post-secondary students.
