I went into research because we lack the tools we need in the kidney transplant clinic to take the best care possible of our patients. It is a slow process. Along the way, many people helped me - expecting nothing in return. I stand on their shoulders. I have made lots of mistakes, and hopefully I can share what I've learned in the process with those who may follow.
